YOUTH MINISTRIES

Youth Breakaway is an annual 5-day summer camp for teens, purposefully designed to provide opportunities for students to explore faith in an environment suited for spiritual growth and the development of meaningful relationships with peers and mentors, amidst all sorts of excitement. YB continues to serve as a strategic tool for youth pastors to provide discipleship to their students and connect with their teens outside of the regular weekly routine. As many past experiences indicate, YB has the potential to serve as a catalyst for spiritual growth for both individuals and groups.

Youth Breakaway I: Created for junior high students. Campers must be in grades 6-9 (most recent completed school year).

Youth Breakaway II: Created for senior high students. Campers must be in grade 10 (most recent completed school year) to age 21.

YC Newfoundland and Labrador (YCNL) is a locally operated, multi-denominational, Christian youth conference designed for junior high, high school, and young adult students. Delegates are engaged by motivational and inspirational speakers, high-energy concerts, and practical workshops targeting subject areas such as mental health, bullying, and healthy relationships.

Since its launch in the year 2000, the conference has circulated the province, averaging an attendance of 2000 people, and seeks to engage, support, and mobilize our province’s youth and youth leaders to help create a better future for Newfoundland & Labrador.
