Welcome to our very first #KIDMINMONDAY post.
Newfoundland and Labrador is a province of rolling beauty, vast expanses of untouched wilderness, and endless miles of rugged unspoiled terrain. And with all that empty space, that means you might not see anyone another KidMin worker for ages.
In a province as spread-out as ours, it’s sometimes lonely being a Children’s Ministry hero. The vision for this blog is that it would be a place where you can feel connected to other KidMin workers leaders and volunteers, source new ideas that have worked in other NL churches, and explore specific issues that affect Children’s Ministry on the rock. We believe that our greatest resource is each other, and we want you to be connected!
Every Monday, we are going to celebrate victories, highlight prayer requests, touch on relevant issues, and even highlight KidMin volunteers that deserve a bit of recognition! We are also planning a podcast where we will interview leaders from across the province. We are even hoping to be able to give some stuff away…
Here’s what you can do to give us a hand:
- Let us know if there are any topics that you would like to see covered in upcoming #KidMinMonday posts
- Tell us about some of your KidMin leaders and volunteers that deserve a bit of recognition
- Spread the word about #KidMinMonday with your Children’s Ministry Volunteers and other Kids’ Ministry leaders that you know
The easiest way to reach us, for now, is pastordanbursey@gmail.com.
Whether you are a paid Kid’s Pastor or the hero who sweeps up after kid’s church, this blog is for you. Keep up the good work!
And remember…
We’re all in this together!
