Awaken Retreat is an annual young adult event for post-secondary students and young professionals (18-35 years) of Newfoundland & Labrador. The 2018 event will take place in two amazing locations on March 9-11, Clarenville and Corner Brook. Registration includes full access to the weekend event, group activity on Saturday, and some group meals.

Breakaway is an annual 5-day summer camp for teens, purposefully designed to provide opportunities for students to explore faith in an environment suited for spiritual growth and the development of meaningful relationships with peers and mentors, amidst all sorts of excitement. Breakaway continues to serve as a strategic tool for youth pastors to provide discipleship to their students and connect with their teens outside of the regular weekly routine. As many past experiences indicate, Breakaway has the potential to serve as a catalyst for spiritual growth for both individuals and groups.
Breakaway I: For junior high students. Campers must be in grades 6-8 (as of January 2019).
Breakaway II : For senior high students. Campers must be in grades 9-12+ (as of January 2019, maximum age of 21).
*Group registrations are required and are due June 12 (Breakaway I) and July 24 (Breakaway II). These are the deadlines for leaders to submit all information and payment to the office. Please set your own local due dates for students. See links below for camp details & registration information.

Kids Rock Camp is an annual 3-day summer camp for children entering grades 2 to 7. Each year brings a brand new theme, energetic ministry guests who bring engaging worship and teaching experiences, and of course loads of exciting activities. Kids Rock Camp is hosted at Emmanuel Convention Centre.
KRC East includes groups from Lewisporte to St. John’s.
KRC West includes groups from Botwood to Port aux Basques, the Northern Peninsula & Labrador.

YC Newfoundland and Labrador (YCNL) is a locally operated, multi-denominational, Christian youth conference designed for junior high, high school, and young adult students. Delegates are engaged by motivational and inspirational speakers, high-energy concerts, and practical workshops targeting subject areas such as mental health, bullying, and healthy relationships.
Since its launch in the year 2000, the conference has circulated the province, averaging an attendance of 2000 people, and seeks to engage, support, and mobilize our province’s youth and youth leaders to help create a better future for Newfoundland & Labrador.

Next Gen Ministries has been proud to partner with YCNL to help resource local leaders to invest in school communities. By addressing topics like bullying, leadership, character, choices, and self-worth, we believe the assemblies add value to school communities by building on the Character Education and Safe and Caring Schools initiatives of the Newfoundland & Labrador English School District, and by supporting the ongoing efforts of teachers, counselors, administrators, and staff. The 2017 tour, with guests Preston Centuolo and Willie Green, took place from February 13 to 17, with 24 presentations scheduled on the West Coast, Northern Peninsula & Labrador. Stay tuned for updates on the 2018 School Tour.
